This phase of “noticing” is very important. Integrate this practice and your orientation to life will begin to change. It takes practice, so begin slowly. Just start with a gentle, ten-second moment of touching your face, your throat, your arms. Start by remembering that you are here, and you have a body.

Choose to notice the way you are holding your body in this moment. Adjust your posture, if you can. Adjust your feet. What would greater alignment look like right now? This is both a physical practice and a metaphor. See my other video, "Posture as a Framework."
